Without any hope of rescue, Mark resigns himself to his prison. Until early one morning when he's rescued by a blonde God. Josh Montgomery is tall, light and beautiful....and straight.
Being in close quarters only makes things harder on both men, will Mark get his man? Will Josh take a chance.... In the wilds of Denali Forest the two men come together, but is it for good? Or will Mark's past drive them apart?

I have been blessed in this life to not only have parents that support me, but kids that do as well. I grew up in a loving but "Old School" French household. My parents worked for the airlines (TWA) so I was able to see a lot of Europe as a kid. I moved to Seattle Washington at the age of 22 and stayed there for twelve years before moving to Alaska for a little over two. Fairbanks, AK was one hell of an experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back! I spent a little over a year in South Carolina before moving back to Arizona. I then left for Kansas for five years and now reside in the South for another two years. I've been married to the military in one way or another for over half my life and wouldn't change a thing about it. Writing has become my fulltime job and I've never been so happy doing a job I love and being able to do it in my jammies. I plan on writing until I dry up and die. Hopefully, that won't happen soon!

I am a junkie for this series. It is sexy, the men are alpha male tough, and the stories are great! This book lets us see just a peak at the paranormal excitement to come in the next books. The characters are so endearing, you cannot help but root for them to find the love they deserve. If you were in trouble, you would want the Skull Blasters to get you out.

Mark Patterson is a gay doctor who works in a hospital. He is alone in the world, having been disowned by his parents for coming out. The only happy memory he has is of the foster brother that lived with his family when he was 18. Mateo was his first kiss, and he had tried to find him later, but was unsuccessful. His Chief of Staff had turned him on to Doctors without Borders, and he was excited to go. He had broken off his "relationship" with Raull, and was looking forward to the change. He got to the jungle and loved working with the locals. He had an assistant named Carlos who could translate for him and things were going well. When military looking men started shooting everyone, they ran, but they got nowhere. Now he was captive by an awful man, forced to deal drugs, and beaten and raped daily. No one was looking for him, and he wanted to die. He prays for someone to save him.

Josh Montgomery doesn't broadcast his sexuality, but he is straight. He doesn't care what his team is. He loves them and Riley, and would do anything for them. While he and Sam are visiting Mateo and Riley, he gets a call. A guy that needs to be put down has been impossible to get alone, and an unknown American is with him. Josh is on it, and settles in to wait the bad guy out. When he sees what is happening to the american, not only is he having strange feelings, he cannot allow that man to be raped again. His team joins him in the jungle, and they get him out.

While watching over Mark, Josh kisses him and feels that he took advantage of the man. He flees to Alaska, to figure it all out. Mark has fallen for Josh and after a bit, he goes to find him. Unfortunately, he isn't the only one going to Alaska. Can Josh come to grips with the fact he is in love with a man? Will their love be enough to save them both? When the bad guys come- who will win? And what is it about the wolf Dakota? How come he is so comfortable around humans? And what does Wayne have to do with it? The ride that is the assassin shifter series is just beginning, get ready for an amazing adventure!
