| Oh this book just totally cemented this series for me. Caleb and Sam are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Caleb is one controlling, bossy prick, with a big heart, nearly everything he does, he does is to help those he loves, and he loves Samantha, his sisters best friend, he just doesn’t realize it yet. Samantha is one independent determined firecracker, I LOVE HER TO DEATH. She doesn’t take any shit, especially from her best friends older brother. But circumstance put Caleb and Samantha in closer quarters than they have ever shared and all those years of tension and banter come out explosively. We got a hint of the sexual tension between these two in One Night Stand, but Shadow of Sin takes that tension to a new level and WOW, just WOW. Again, this series has everything, it keeps you guessing what is going to happen next both between the characters and with the plot. 2 more Martin brothers to read about, I can’t wait for their stories, however I suspect Caleb and Samantha will hold a special place for me. |
