Matthew Hawke’s professional life is soaring as high the powerful bird of prey whose image is inked on his back. He’s at the top of his game as the owner of an advertising agency that is scooping up prime accounts like a mighty hawk wrapping its talons around an unfortunate ground rodent. Yes, work is good. Too bad his love life has more in common with the dying rodent than the triumphant hawk. When the thought of a sexy man trumps actually being with a sexy woman, Matthew thinks it might be time for a change. And there IS a gorgeous man at the gym he’s noticed.

Drakon Mavros is working his shapely ass off to make ends meet. His administrative assistant job at a messenger service is steady, but the money he gets from his more creative job pays most of the bills. An ex-boyfriend took his confidence, his trust and his self-esteem and Drakon is afraid to take another chance at love. When an adorably goofy man at his gym actually hurts himself trying to flirt with him, Drakon can’t resist falling under Matt’s spell. He makes Drakon feel good about himself again and praises his artistic talent – neither of which his ex ever did.

As the men begin to fall for one another, it appears nothing can go wrong – they seem to be soul mates. Secrets and lies can crack even the firmest foundation, though. It takes a true master to shore it up so that it never crumbles. Is love the mortar that can restore trust and faith and bind men forever? Only time will tell. Can Drakon and Matt take that chance?

I have been blessed in this life to not only have parents that support me, but kids that do as well. I grew up in a loving but "Old School" French household. My parents worked for the airlines (TWA) so I was able to see a lot of Europe as a kid. I moved to Seattle Washington at the age of 22 and stayed there for twelve years before moving to Alaska for a little over two. Fairbanks, AK was one hell of an experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back! I spent a little over a year in South Carolina before moving back to Arizona. I then left for Kansas for five years and now reside in the South for another two years. I've been married to the military in one way or another for over half my life and wouldn't change a thing about it. Writing has become my fulltime job and I've never been so happy doing a job I love and being able to do it in my jammies. I plan on writing until I dry up and die. Hopefully, that won't happen soon!

I have loved the other three books in this series, so I was looking forward to this installment like you wouldn't believe. It lived up to my expectations and then some. It seems everything Sandrine writes is gold. She has an incredible gift of being able to make you see the story and the characters. The characters seem so real, you cannot help but fall for them. And she has a gift of story telling where love eventually conquers all. The Men of Manhattan series is incredible in the fact that you want these characters to get their man. The honest love that is expressed always warms my heart.

Matthew Hawke is a 38 year old owner of his own Ad agency. He has become very successful in every aspect of his life except for in his love life. He has always dated women, but he is not oblivious to a sexy man. He has a friend with benefits with whom he has sex with when they need it, but in his last romp with her, he can't even stay hard. He realizes that he is very interested in a sexy man at his gym, but he is unsure of what to do.

Drakon Mavros is a 25 year old assistant at a messenger service. He has a college degree, but doesn't use it. He has incredible talent as an artist, but his self esteem is so damaged by a former flame that he doesn't think he is good enough for anything. He has two loves: twinkies and sneakers

Matthew tries to call a sex line to get out of his funk. Unable to have an orgasm with his female friend with benefits, he calls. He accidentally gets the male line instead of the female one, but he likes this. Talking with "Drake" really turns him on, so he decides to hit on the sexy guy he has seen at his gym. When things go horribly wrong, Drakon is super sweet and they decide to meet up later. Drakon talks about how hurt he was by a former lover who lied to him, on top of not wanting to see anyone who was a bigwig. Matthew is between a rock and a hard place. He really likes Drakon, but the guy wouldn't be interested if he knew Matthew owned the ad agency. He hopes if Drakon gets to know him better, and maybe falls for him, that it could be okay. The problem lies in the fact that everyone who works with Drakon, and their significant others, all know or work for Matthew. Things get dicey when there is an event they will all be going to. Then the secret turns both their worlds on it head.

Can Matthew keep things under wraps long enough? What happened to Drakon to make him so insecure? Can love conquer all? Will Drakon be able to forgive Matthew? Grab this book for a very sexy read. The challenges the characters face will make you hope for a happily ever after. Then go grab all of Sandrine's books and dig in. You won't regret it. I just hope there are more Men of Manhattan books to come.
