Meliana has denied her powers as a witch because she'd rather fit into society. She doesn't want to stand out, but a woman with blue hair and the power to work magic doesn't necessarily blend in. She got the cat in an attempt to be normal, but this kitty has a secret and it's guaranteed to surprise.

When she's not writing the stories in her head, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her two vampire Cabana boys, Luke and Jeremy. She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don't seem to mind.

When she's not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school.

She enjoys writing in all genres, but writing about men in love suits her fancy best.

This is the first book I have read of Megan Slayer and it definitely won't be the last. Her story flows smoothly and is a joy to read.

Meliana is a witch but she has denied her powers because if people knew she was a witch she wouldn't fit in with people. She really only has one true friend and that is a black cat she named Chaos. Chaos was her friend, her cuddle buddy at night and an ear to listen to her and watch her while she did spells in the secret of her apartment. But Chaos holds a secret and that secret is he is a shifter. Meliana was told that Chaos was a normal cat not a shifter sometimes things happen for a reason.

Chaos in his animal form is a black cat that has lived with Meliana for two years, ever since she picked him up from old lady Hildegards house. When he shifts he is Adrian, a handsome man. The first time he shifts he does it in bed right next to Meliana. She had started coming into her power and that made his mature faster and then he shifted. He needs to find his three brothers and he convinces Meliana she hasn't lost her mind and he is her cat but he needs help and she is the help he needs not to mention the love of his life.

A very good read and since I am a cat person that made the story even better. If you love cats, you will love this story because the cat is a gem of a guy in my opinion.
