That’s how they were able to take over the world so easily and change an entire civilization to suit their needs. Whatever happens, I know it’s not going to be pretty, so I’m preparing myself for the worst. May God help me.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I decided to read this story I saw guy on guy and vampires I thought "hey that's totally the kind of books I read!" WRONG! this book is dark and it's only book 1 but I feel like it's setting up for the rest of the series and I can imaging, well really no I can't imagine what's going to happen in the next book but I know it'll probably shock me like this book did but I also feel like it's going to be good. It's only at the end of this book that I was thinking "man this is so wrong but so hot!" so I know the rest of the series is going to be just as dark maybe even darker but hopefully they'll still be those "Oh shit this is hot!" moments. I like stories that make me react and this book definitely did that.
