REVIEW - Hunter by Night by Elisabeth Staab

Hunter by Night (Chronicles of Yavn #3)

She wants out
Party girl Alexia Blackburn is only hanging around the vampire compound until her best friend—the queen—has her baby. After that, nothing is going to stop Alexia from getting back to daylight, safety, and feeling like a normal human being. But leaving the vampire world has one big catch...
He needs her to stay
Head of vampire security Lee Goram has hated and distrusted humans for centuries. Feeding on vampire blood has kept him strong...but now it's killing him—and he's horrified to discover that Alexia may hold the key to his cure. He'd rather die defending his king than admit his weakness, but time is running out for the great vampire warrior...

I don't' know about anyone else, but in many of the Series I read there is always that one person aside from the main character whose story I just cannot wait for.  In The Midnight Breed Series, it was Teagan, Black Daggar Brotherhood it was Zsadist, Vampires In America, DUNCAN - damn just typing that makes me want to reread that book.  Anyhow you get the point and in the Chronicles of Yavn Series I've been waiting, what seems like forever for Lee's story.

YES! Lee and Alexia F I N A L L Y, I love these two, Lee has had wrong belief's for so long and he's just such a stubborn badass and Alexia just blows those belief's all to pieces.  When Lee finally snaps and goes after what he really wants its explosive.
Of course along the way we find out why these two are they way they are, the things that have happened in their lives that have molded them.
In between there was a whole bunch of action and adventure.  All the character's we have come to love are still around, and there is even an addition, a royal addition :-) and I think I see where the next book might be going and I can't frigging wait.
As I've said before in my reviews of this series, if you love vampires and would like a slightly different refreshing take on them, this is a series for you my friend.
