Miranda and Jordan Lang cordially invite you to their divorce...

Jordie is not completely surprised when Miranda suggests they separate. Their marriage had been deteriorating from the moment they took their vows. Although heartbroken things didn’t work out with the woman he expected to spend the rest of his life with, he doesn’t contest her decision.

The only thing holding up the final divorce decree is the sale of their get-away cabin. In a weak moment, Miranda heads there for the weekend knowing full well that Jordie will also be there. Accidentally—on purpose, she seduces him and leaves an open invitation for another naughty weekender.

But the next time they meet, Jordie’s anger over the entire situation has kicked in and he finds himself being rough and commanding with her. And even more surprising, his ex likes it.

Follow Jordie as he finds and embraces his dominant side and Miranda her submissive self. Will it be enough to save their doomed relationship or will the issues that drove them apart remain more than they can overcome?

Miranda Lang and her husband Jordie have been married for awhile and they both became not very interested in the marriage anymore. Miranda wanted the career life while Jordie wanted a wife and babies which Miranda couldn't give him those because she was married to her job. They grew apart and both decided that a divorce would be the best way to stop hurting each other.

In marriage you sometimes hold secrets that the other spouse should've been told. But you are so afraid of how the other person will react and afraid you will be laughed at or looked down upon, so you don't say anything. This is what happened to Miranda and Jordie. They each had their own secret and because of these secrets, the marriage suffered. Miranda was more of a submissive and not really a take charge kind of person but Jordie was the more Dominant type and would love to have his wife be submissive to him. But instead of telling each other what turned each one on, they just gave up. Giving up on something you really do love and want is the chickens way out in my opinion.

During the divorce process Miranda and Jordie find out more about each other than they ever knew during their marriage. They have a cabin in the woods that they decided to sell since neither wanted the cabin as a reminder of what could have been. Well one weekend when Miranda went to the cabin for a weekend getaway, she never expected company. She was shocked when Jordie walked up behind her and demanded to know why she was there. Jordie was shocked to see Miranda at the cabin at the same time he was. Jordie starts demanding things of Miranda sexually and he realizes she loves to have that commanding presence in the bedroom. Miranda is so turned on when Jordie starts demanding certain sexual favors from her and she can't seem to get enough of him.

Each one of them were hurting and because of that, they tried to hurt each other also. I honestly feel that Jordie shouldn't have been such a hard headed guy. But because he was .seeing a new side of his soon to be ex wife, I can see why he was being that way. Reading this was almost like watching my first marriage fall apart because of secrets but our secrets where not as sexy as these in this book. Jordie and Miranda realize too late that they still love each other and finally they really are finding out who the other one really is and what they like.

The ending wasn't really what I expected but it was a good ending. Hoping there is another book to follow this one because I would love to see if  Jordie and Miranda can go their own separate ways or if because of the new found knowledge they have of each other is going to help them in their future of being single. Can't wait to read more from this author.
