I love reading about characters who love someone so much that they are willing to go against the laws just to get their one true love.
Hal. who is a warlock and in love with a human which is really against the laws but sometimes breaking the rules is worth it especially for the one true love. But Eve does not know what Hal is and Hal wants to be completely honest with her and Hal decides that Eve should know right now.

Well Eve is agree to meet Hal and she is in for a big surprise that she never has expected. Hal tells Eve his secret and Eve reacts how Hal was praying she wouldn't. She gets upset, takes off in her car and wrecks and dies. I cried at this place because I was so sad that Eve was killed so early in the book. What will Hal do now? Well he tries to bring her back to life on Hallow's eve because it's been one year and his life has been nothing but hell without Eve beside him.

This story to me was a love story and how unhappy you can be without the one person you love right by your side. I said awww quite a bit in this book and smiled all through the book. I can't wait to read more from this author.
